What Are Good Airport Legal Self Defense Tools

We can never be safe enough these days, also not in our own households, let alone in airports, train stations, or subways, which can be peaceful or hectic. As a solo traveler, you'll want to feel safe and secure in the knowledge that you have the ability to defend yourself in the event of a situation that could potentially be dangerous. There is absolutely nothing wrong with carrying a self-defense sprays, or taser through customs or security, but unless you want to miss your flight and spend the night in security for investigations, please do not even try! Put in in your checked bag.

When traveling, what are some of the best disguised or hidden nonlethal and legal self-defense tools?

  • Tactical Gloves

  • Tactical Pens

  • Tactical Flashlights

  • Personal Safety Alarms

  • Self Defense Sprays

  • Stun Guns / Stun Phone / Shocking Devices

Tactical Gloves

In the event that you get into a fight or have an accident while riding a motorcycle, your hands and knuckles will be protected by these gloves thanks to their design. They are constructed using a long-lasting material that is both flexible and strong simultaneously. Then, the material that covers the knuckles is tough enough to discourage criminals when they are struck.

Tactical Pens

You can protect yourself in almost any circumstance by carrying a tactical pen with you at all times. In addition to being a weapon for self-defense, they also have a pen attached to the other end of the device. A good proportion of them are equipped with flashlights and multitools. They are very useful for writing notes, signing checks, and putting signatures on official documents. Because of this, they are also convenient to carry around on a daily basis.

Tactical Flashlight

A flashlight that is intended for use in a military or law enforcement setting is known as a tactical flashlight. In the event of a crisis, they provide dependable illumination and are intended to temporarily blind a person who is attacking you. Compared to your average flashlight, the price of one of these flashlights is typically quite a bit higher. Tactical flashlights are an essential item for any prepper's kit as well as an excellent addition to any survival kit.

Personal Safety Alarms

When you go out, you should always keep a personal safety alarm in your car, purse, or pocket. You never know when you might need help, and you can't always count on other people to help you. A personal safety alarm is a small, powerful device that can make a 125db sound. A police siren, on the other hand, can only make a 120db sound. They make great gifts for women, kids, and anyone who works nights, but most seniors use them to call for help if they fall, feel unsafe, are physically threatened, have a medical emergency, get into an accident, or have an allergic reaction.

Self Defense Sprays

Using self-defense sprays is an excellent way to keep yourself safe in the event of an attack. They're small and light, and can be used to put an attacker down. Some people are afraid to use self-defense sprays for fear that the chemicals will harm them. However, this is not true. Moreover, they're safe to use because they're not lethal. The chemicals in the spray are not harmful to humans.  The person who is attacking you will only experience irritation to their eyes and skin if they come into contact with the spray.

Emergency Whistles

It is possible for a police siren to reach a decibel level of 120. The sound of a jet engine can reach 130 decibels. Fireworks can produce noise levels as high as 140 decibels (dB), which is the point at which people begin to feel pain in their ears. The Hyperwhistle is the world's loudest whistle, producing a screech of up to 142 decibels. With such a high level of sound, imagine someone (or something) trying to harm you while being blasted with it. Those eardrums will be sorely missed. With a range of up to two miles, this device is ideal for use in a wilderness survival kit.

Shocking Devices

It's hard to believe that these gadgets don't violate any laws, but fortunately for us, that isn't the case. Self-defense devices that deliver electric shocks come in a variety of forms, including tasers, rods, guns, and even...phones. A taser-like device that has the appearance of a modern smartphone is called a stun phone. Some of these stun phones come equipped with flashlights and personal safety alarms that can be used to call for assistance in the event that you feel threatened and want to draw attention to the aggressor.

Conclusion

You should always be prepared, but this is especially true when you are traveling somewhere new. Follow the TSA's self-defense equipment guidelines and be proactive by learning the laws of your destination country. Personally, I'd rather use a strong metal pen that's concealed and non-lethal but legal, as well as wearing a belt and knowing the fundamentals of self-defense fighting.
